    Corvette, Old, or New?

These Vettes came in with serious paint issues. The Black convertible was covered in heavy overspray from a painting project near the owner's office. The yellow '95 was in great condition but the paint had significant fish eye in the hood and back lid, with the entire car needing several rounds of polishing as to complete. Gyeon Ceramic coatings were applied once finish polishing was completed. The end result is clean, clear very well protected finish that will keep a fantast

Two Vintage Porsche's, and a Jaguar

Today we have three vintage models that have universal appeal. The two 356's are near perfect examples and came to us for show prep and ceramic work. The Jag is also a beautiful example of timeless design and beauty. All three needed substantial correction to bring out the outstanding quality of the paint. All underwent several rounds of aggressive polishing to clear up and then two rounds of finish polishing to finalize. Once squeaky clean we applied Gyeon's finest Cer

A New Ford GT, and a Bronze Cobra

The GT is the latest and greatest from the engineers at Ford. A true American made exotic. The GT came to us straight from the factory and still required substantial polish time to take out the hazing that could be found on much of the car. After considerable prep, we applied a Gyeon Ceramic Coat over a newly applied Xpel Clear Wrap. The results were spectacular as expected. Along with the GT we had another polished metal wonder in to work on. A Kirkham built 1965 AC C

    A Corvette, a GTO, a McLaren, and a Cobra!

We've been busy here at Concorso and a little behind in post's, so here's a little story about some of the recent work. The other day we had a Corvette show up that wanted a complete work over and Gyeon Ceramic Coating in preparation for an upcoming photo shoot. We started with running gear and undercarriage and went from there. The custom scheme is crazy and the show quality paint by KoKo is fantastic. All work is painted, no decals here. All finished to the highest level of

    A Pair of White Corvettes

Here's a 2014 Stingray along with a 2015 Z51 we had in last week for a Gyeon Ceramic Coating. Both Vettes in virtually the same paint and trim. One hardtop and one convertible, two different owners. The white paints can be deceptive to work with in that flaws are much harder to detect and oxidization can hide in a glaring white finish. As soon as the polishing begins, the clear white sparkle pops out and shows just how much debris was really in what looked like a clean white

    One Gorgeous Corvette

The owner brought this new Corvette Grand Sport for a complete polish, prep and Gyeon Ceramic Coating. I had three rounds of polishing on this incredible car in order to find the real luster and depth a jet-black finish can offer. As you may have read here before, one of the keys to success with black vehicles is attention to the consistency in clarity and gloss in the finish. Once prep was completed, I applied the Base Coat by Gyeon and allowed time for curing. After the bas

    2016 Porsche Cabriolet and a 2018 Jaguar

We closed out 2018 with a rush of Black cars. Here's a look at 3 with more to follow in the next couple of days. The Porsche is a 2016 Cabriolet and the Jag is a 2018 Sedan. Both are just beautiful cars. I had extensive polish work on both to prep for Gyeon Ceramic Coating. The paint on both was very hard, but once the right combination of polish and pads was figured out, the result was spectacular. #PaintPolishing #CeramicCoating #CarPolishing #AutoDetailing #Xpel #Gyeon #Gy

    Supercharged Escalade

Here's a new Escalade that the owner sent to Hennessey down in Sealy, TX for a bit of customization. Wheels, brakes, pin stripping and "A Supercharger". Once completed, they had it brought it here for a little TLC. This buggy will get you and 6 friends to the golf course in a real hurry. A stunning vehicle that is an absolute beast. Although new, I still had quite a bit of polishing to do before I could start coating. After all polishing and prep was completed, I applied a co

    Gyeon Ceramic Coatings Jaguar

Here's a beautiful Jag we had a in for a complete polish and Gyeon Ceramic Coating. The pearl essence of the paint made for a gorgeous end result. I started the process with a clay mitt wipe down to remove any stubborn debris from the surface and once smooth, came back with a 50/50 alcohol and water bath to remove any remaining residues. On to polishing. Polishing is generally a multi step process and a bit of an experiment as well. Paints respond differently to the polishes
